Apply a mixture of dawn dishwashing detergent and hydrogen peroxide to the stain. Mix about 3 parts hydrogen peroxide and 1 part dishwashing liquid then apply to your red wine stain.

The exact amount you need will depend on the size of your stain but you shouldn t need much more than a half cup 118 milliliters or so for any stain. This hydrogen peroxide and dishwashing soap mixture works on almost all types of carpet stains. For cleaning carpet stains you will need some 3 hydrogen peroxide ordinary dishwashing detergent and normal baking soda to make a wonderfully efficient homemade carpet cleaning solution. Pour the mixture over the wine stainand allow it to soak in.

Mix 1 cup hydrogen peroxide with a 1 2 teaspoon dish soap in a small bowl images 1 and 2 below. It can even be used for removing oil based paint stains. Dab the liquid cleaning solution onto the stain using a sponge or light colored towel. Blot don t rub then mix equal parts dawn dishwashing liquid soap with hydrogen peroxide.

You should see the stain begin to fade almost immediately. Mix together equal parts dawn dishwashing detergent and hydrogen peroxide. Use 3 hydrogen peroxide on stains. Then blot clean before attempting to fully wash out the mixture.
